The Davido UK Tour of 2013 marked a turning point in Afrobeats history. Long before the global explosion of the genre, SMADE produced one of the first fully-structured Afrobeats tours across major UK cities — from Indigo at The O₂ to Birmingham, Manchester and Coventry.

Night after night, the shows sold out as diasporic audiences gathered to witness a new era of African music breaking through. This tour laid the groundwork for the modern Afrobeats touring circuit, proving that African artists could headline, sell out and command stages across the UK. It became a blueprint moment — a foundation stone for everything that would follow.
