Diaspora Roundtables
Closed-room strategy sessions where culture becomes diplomacy — and dialogue becomes infrastructure.
A travelling series convening policymakers, investors, founders, creators, and operators across cities worldwide to turn cultural momentum into year-round creative economies — with practical collaboration, not panel talk.
The Concept
Diaspora Roundtables is a flagship series led by Dr. Adesegun Adeosun Jnr (King SMADE) — Founder of SMADE Entertainment Group and Co-Founder of Afro Nation.
For over two decades, Dr. Adeosun has shaped the global Afrobeats live experience, using culture as a bridge between Africa and its diaspora. Diaspora Roundtables extends that work beyond the stage — into strategy, diplomacy, and long-term ecosystem building.
Each session is designed to move conversation forward: from ideas to alignment, and from alignment to action.
High-Trust Rooms
Curated spaces designed for honest dialogue, nuance, and conversations that lead to real decisions.
Diaspora as Strategy
Positioning diaspora networks not as audiences, but as partners — connecting local ecosystems to capital, markets, and long-term opportunity.
Culture to Infrastructure
Shifting beyond visibility into systems: venues, policy, finance, and scalable models that allow culture to last.

DIASPORA ROUNDTABLES
Beyond Detty December
Accra • Jambo Spaces • 50+ builders in the room
Detty December proves demand. The work is what survives January. In Accra, we gathered creators, operators, artists, strategists, and investors to get specific about what turns cultural momentum into year-round infrastructure: systems that scale, revenue that lasts, partnerships with shared responsibility, and safety treated as leadership.
Scale requires structure
Momentum can’t replace operations, planning, and duty of care.
Build brick by brick
Test, iterate, and strengthen the system before expanding the stage.
Legacy is usable
Skills transfer, shared ownership, and work that continues without you.
Partnerships must share risk
Visibility isn’t value unless responsibility and benefit are aligned.
