Pilgrimage & Personal Legacy

In 2024, I travelled to Mecca for my 40th birthday — a journey I had dreamed of for many years. I always hoped to make this pilgrimage with both of my parents. My mother sadly passed in 2022, but I was blessed to make the journey with my father by my side.

This was more than a birthday. It was a moment of spiritual grounding, reflection, and honouring the legacy of the people who made me who I am — a long-held dream fulfilled, and a reminder of the sacred responsibility I carry as a son, a father, and a custodian of culture.
